Commissions
If you like my work and would like to request a commission, please submit a request through the Contact page.
In your enquiry, please include the following information:
- Size of canvas/paper/item you would like
- Material (canvas, paper, wood)
- Images of what you would like painted
- Approximate deadline
Please be aware of the following terms and conditions:
- All artwork is completed in my style. This means that I will not be painting requests which are inspired by other artists and/or in a style which does not align with my usual artwork. This is to ensure consistency, originality and so that I can ensure that I am capable of fulfilling your request.
- All commission requests are at my discretion - if I don't believe I can complete your request to a high standard and ensure a happy customer, I will not accept it (e.g. if a request is very different to what I usually paint).
- Art takes a long time! Please allow a minimum of four weeks for your art work to be finished. This is also subject to how many other art works I am currently working on. Do not leave any gifts to the last minute.
- If I accept your commission request, I will send a quote for the final product. You will need to send the full payment prior to your art work being started.
If the quote you receive is more than you anticipated, please see below the factors which are accounted for when calculating a quote:
- Time spent on the art work (most of my works take over ten hours to complete. My hourly rate is $25 per hour).
- Material used and size
- Amount of paint needed to complete the work
- Shipping cost
